7.10.2013 - Brooklyn architects wUNDERground and Tribeca design firm Damon Liss Design collaborated with Design Development on this eco-friendly loft on Ninth Avenue in Chelsea.
7.12.13 - The design team?a collaboration between Design Development, wUNDERground architecture, and Damon Liss Design gut renovated the spaces, even replacing the insulation with recycled denim material and re-sealing the windows with toxin-free caulking.

7.6.13 - This gorgeous renovation of two Chelsea loft apartments into one large space for a growing family is a great example of a whole being more than just the sum of its parts. Designed by wUNDERground and built by Design Development NYC, the two story apartment is completely allergen-free and uses no-VOC materials and lots of environmentally-friendly strategies.
3.25.2013 - Fred Toborg was a beloved coach of numerous sports for 30 years at the Trinity School on the Upper West Side. So when former students heard about what happened to his home, located next to a salt marsh, they jumped at the chance to help him out. Among them was Chip Brian, co-owner of a construction firm called Design Development. He decided to rebuild the Toborg's home for free.
6.5.13 - The owners brought in Design Development NYC to oversee the construction of the eco-friendly renovation and they incorporated a number of health-conscious systems and sustainable materials and with the help of architecture studio wUNDERground and Damon Liss Design handling the interiors, the family got the healthy urban home they desired.
9.11.13 - Word of their situation spread quickly through the Trinity alumni network, and within days, a group of Fred's former students descended on the house. Among them was Chip Brian, CEO of the design-build firm Design Development NYC.

10.22.2013 - As experts in sustaining shoreline homes, raising homes, and renovating and restoring damaged buildings, Design Development NYC (DDNYC) helped many storm victims restore their homes post-Sandy. "New York is DDNYC's town: all of our contractors, designers, architects, and artisans live and work here," say DDNYC partner and co-founder Chip Brian.
11.18.13 - But members of the community and alumni from the Trinity school pitched in to help the Toborgs, and when Chip Brian, co-owner of New York construction firm Design Development, heard about the project, he offered the firm's services to the couple free of charge. Now the Toborgs' home is more beautiful than ever, and better prepared to weather future storms.
